Bird & Well Wishing

Bird was exhibited with a number other works, Argument #2, Red and Well Wishing.

My fascination with birds comes from having them as pets, quails and a budgies, as a child. My interest is in their instinctive drivers as compared to our own. They are complex; they strive, build, sing and protect what they see as theirs. As with humans birds are subject to limits and driven by instinct to create and make order, nests and song. I'm not sure if they privilege their approach over ours, but I know they have the capacity to be proud.

WellWishing, sandbags, motion activation well that illuminates when money is thrown in.
