Eerd #1 consisted of audio of myself whistling bird calls that evolve into human song structure. The vibrating speaker moves the mounted feather. As with earlier bird pieces I am interested in the instincts we share, and the creativity of animals. Hangs to 5 ft above floor, feather 4 inches. 2008
Eerd #2 invites audience members to sing or whistle into a microphone. This then is translated into movement of the mounted feather. Again interested in our birdness and the physicality of sound. 2011
